After the launch of the budget Android phone,the Galaxy Y,Samsung has again launched yet another low-budget Android smartphone which is even cheaper then the Galaxy Y.It is the new Samsung Galaxy Pocket.As the name says the phone is a small pocket sized which comes with a 2.8'' capacitive touchscreen display which have a display resolution of 230 x 320 pixels.Even if the phone is compact sized and light weight,Samsung has given it a powerful 832 MHz processor which delivers fast and lag free performance.

The Galaxy Pocket offers a 3GB internal user memory which can be expandable up to 32 GB using microSD card to store your favorite movies,photos and music as well.The Pocket also comes with an inbuilt FM receiver in which you can tune and hear your favorite radio stations.The Pocket offers a high speed Wi-Fi and HSDPA 3.6 connectivity to browse web pages,watch movies online and watch your favorite videos from YouTube.The flash enabled web browser allows you to browse web pages fast with good clarity.
The Galaxy Pocket feature's Samsung's ChatON cross-platform communication service that connects all phone users into single community,enabling spontaneous messaging,group chatting and content sharing,so users can stay in touch more easily.
The phone will be launched this year availing first in UK and then to other markets around the globe.The phone is expected to price around $145 (Rs.7000).
